In ’76 I published a story of the Texas Cleburne Motor Car Co makers of the Luck Utility (a convertible pickup/roadster highwheeler) and a delivery van called the Chaparral . First In ’76 I published a story of the Texas Cleburne Motor Car Co makers of the Luck Utility (a convertible pickup/roadster highwheeler) and a delivery van called the Chaparral . First car was finished in December, 1911. Luck made 9 cars the first year and probably less the next years before folding in ‘14. A recent internet search revealed the Witte Museum in San Antonio in 1962 owned a Chaparral that was sold to another unknown museum when they got rid of cars. Anyone have clue where it is?
